We began learning about Ghana, and packed our bags.- Francesca  We flew to Ghana.- Charlie  We learned how to play Mancala, a strategic game the originated in Africa.- Isabel  We decorated our Ghana folders.- Lily

We learned about Function Machines in Math.- Elise We completed Unit 5 and took a test.- Hersh

We wrote a snowflake story. Mrs. Bernacchi taped us and made it into a QR code.  It is on the hall bulletin board.- Charley  We wrote a book about us for Show and Share Night. - Francesca  We wrote an autobiographical poem.  It was about ourselves.- Khaila

We wrote words for a picture book called Hats!  We taped us reading our own words with the pictures of the book.  It is a QR code in our classroom.- Elise

We drew ourselves, colored it in using crayons and watercolor paints.- Charley

I encourage all children to participate in the exchange of Valentine cards.  Please have your child bring a card for every child in our class.  We will be making a special Valentine Bag on Monday, Feb 11th to collect the cards.  You may send in the valentines to be delivered on Tuesday, Feb. 12th.
